Now cross your fingers for good weather and good snow!
Today is the day to skip out on the usual Sunday 9am run from Assiniboine Park Duck Pond (we'll all be skiing anyway!) and join us at Grand Beach for some Cross Country Skiing! Skate or Classic welcome!!
The ski trailhead at Grand Beach is clearly marked as a right turn off the East Beach Road. Because it will take about 60minutes to drive here, we will plan to start at 10am at the Trail Head. There are a variety of trail lengths and difficulties available for all abilities!
Following the Ski, join us at the Peacock/Brown Family Cabin at 22 Scott Drive in Victoria Beach for a post ski pot-luck brunch seated next to a roaring fire. Or in the case of most of this winter, get a tan on the deck! (The cabin is about 15 minutes north of Grand Beach).

In case of uncooperative weather: ie: too cold to ski, no snow, poor highway conditions...there will be an update posted the morning of Saturday March 10th. In this case, we'll indicate the change in the plan (likely the usual long run from the Park and a city based Pot luck brunch).
