Regular Spring Schedule:
Effective Monday April 2nd:
Monday 6pm: Bike: Pan Am Pool. Michael and Jeff will take the group to a variety of locations to work on many areas of bike riding. Sessions will be speed focused and include all types of skills from cornering, bike handling, mounting and dismounting, group riding, intervals etc.
Tuesday 6pm: Interval Run: Assiniboine Park Formal Garden. Patrick will take the group through a triathlon focused speed type workout. Sessions will begin with warm up jog and flexibility, drills, and progress into speed development and specific pace work.
(Please note: There are no workouts in May due to the May Duathlon Series. Workouts will resume in June).
Wednesday 6pm: Brick: 536 Niagara Street. Patrick will lead the group westward towards Headingley for a triathlon focused bike session. Plan on riding in your aerobars with specific intervals sets to help you build and maintain your threshold speed. Following the bike, the group will head back to the start for bike lock up and head out on a run course.
Saturday 9am: Bike: Assiniboine Park Duck Pond. Patrick will be leading the group on a variety of routes around the city. The group will be focused on a friendly ride that is focused on working together to build endurance. Plan to bring full water bottles and plenty of food for these rides. For athletes with longer distance races (Olympic +) it's recommended that they plan to run following their bike effort.
