Racing to the Altar

Tribe Stories Volume One

As promised a few weeks ago we have begun collecting your summer training/racing stories to share on our team blog. Our first submission comes from club member Mélanie Leclair (Roiselle) who has chosen to share her story in pictures. Mélanie admits that her racing and training season came to a bit of a halt during the month of August while she prepared to RACE to the ALTAR instead...Mélanie married Ryan and the pictures shared below will give you a look into their wedding photo journey...

Thanks to Mél and Ryan for sharing your photo journey. Congratulations!

Keep sending your stories to Tribe Stories

Hey Tribe, where have you been racing/training?

We would love to highlight where Tribe members have been training and racing over the summer! Please feel free to share a brief update including photos to Cynthia  before the end of August and we will compile submissions into one (or several) amazing, page-turning...er,...um, rather... e-scrolling blog post adventure!

You may wish to include within your submission...
  • Location/Event: where you were and who was with you (travel stories are fun!)
  • Race story...the part race results don't reveal...(these are the best!)
  • Lessons learned, key moments, near escapes...
  • Photo inclusion and little description
Happy writing!

Cynthia
This sign was posted at the 2012  Edmonton ITU Triathlon World Cup (which was also the site of Nationals). It was the last sign I read before flying down the hill at 50km/h
I may have closed my eyes through that bit!
